My grandmother was a major part of my life and I was her world. I spent most of my childhood with her and my beloved grandfather. Many weekends, school vacations, etc. My wonderful grandfather passed in 1969 which devestated my gramdmother and not a day went by when her heart wasn't grieving for him. He was her one true love and her heart was sooooo broken when he passed. I pray they are now together again and happily holding hands.
My Gram spent most every Sunday at my house and other days as well. She would have a beer every Sunday, even at age 94, lol....she was quite the character. I miss my Gram sooooooooo much, never got to say goodbye as she passed very unexpectadly at home, her heart simply stopped. I am grateful that she went so fast and didn't linger or suffer.
Gram loved all animals and would feed all the strays that came her way. I am sure she is tending to all the animals in heaven now.
Gram especially loved my parrot, Smokey Joe. First thing she would do when she came to my house was go to his cage and talk to him, he loved her too and would "flirt" with her, lol..Gram always misted him with a water botte which he so loved.
Gram absolutely LOVED a good prank, lol, she would laugh sooooooo hard when we would pull a prank on someone and she was always encouraging me to do one, lol
I pray my sweet Gram is happy now and knows how deeply I love and miss her. I am grateful for having my Gram in my life as she was very instumental in my upbringing.
Gram also lovedddddd sweets, lol, I used to "hide" candy in her house to find and she so enjoyed that. She would lift a towel and find candy hidden in the bathroom, under her pillow, in her purse, under he stack of newspapers, in the dish drainer....
My Gram was truly "one of a kind" and I am so lost without her. I love you ((((((((((Gram)))))))) so very very much.
Until we are reunited...I shall think of u every day.

I am sure you don't show your age at all and are still absolutely BEAUTIFUL :-) I made a bday cake for you and (((((((((Tommy)))))) and will finish it later today, still have to frost and decorate it. Just stopping by to give you a hug and to tell you how deeply you are missed. My heart thinks of you often and sometimes I go drive past your house in Omro and reflect on all the HAPPY times spent there with you and Grandpa. I wish I could relive those days all over again. I also go past your apt and always say "Hi Gram, I Love and Miss You"....and I hope you hear me when I do that.
I was sooooooooooo blessed to have YOU as MY ((((((((Grandma)))))))) tho 94 yrs was not enuff!
Please give ((((((((((Grandpa))))) a super big hug for me....the BEST ((((Grandpa)))))a girl could ever ask for.

I am stopping by today to tell you how dear you are to me, how much I love and miss you....and how thankful and blessed I am to have had YOU as my (((((((((((Grandmother)))))))))))))) The other day I drove to Omro and went past your house...I thought of all the times I spent there with you and Grandpa....and wished so much I could do that all over again. The happiest times of my childhood were spent with you and Grandpa and those memories are forever etched within my heart.
I hope you are happy being with Grandpa again....I love to close my eyes and envision you and Grandpa slow dancing...gazing at each other with such LOVE. I know how much you grieved for him after he passed and it made my heart ache so much seeing the sadness in your eyes. Be happy now (((((((((Gram))))))))) and enjoy the snuggles you are getting from ((((((((Grandpa)))))))))) I love you Gram and Gramps...always and forever.

Today is your 98th bday and I bet you are as lovely as ever and that you still look like a HOT chick:-) I hope Grandpa is showering you with delicious bday kisses and whispering sweet nothings in your ear:-)
I made you a bday cake, Gram and got you a balloon which I will release to heaven. I wish I could attach myself to the balloon and be there with you...I would give u the BIGGEST and TIGHTEST hug ever and tell you over and over and over again how much I LOVE YOU.
It is also Tom's bday today as you share the same bday with your great-grandson. I hope you both like the cake I made you (even flavored the frosting with anise for you). I will be lighting the candles and singing HAPPY BIRTHDAY to both of you a bit later. I hope you HEAR me! And I hope you send me a sign letting me know that both of you are with me.

Today is Mother's Day and thoughts of you overwhelm me on this speical day. YOu were more my Mom than you were my Gram and I love you so much (((((Gram)))))))
How I wish you were still here with me, I would try to make this a special day for you, bring you candy and take you out to eat. I would adorn you with hugs and kisses which I soooooo regret not doing enuff of while you were still here. I am deeply sorry Gram that I didn't do that very often or tell you how much you meant to me and how much I love you. It was hard for me to say or demonstrate affection but I hope you always knew and still do, know and feel the intense and deep love I have for you.
((((((Gram)))))))))) I will forever miss you and part of me is so very empty now without you. I have so many regrets, so very very many but I want you to knwo that I love you with all my heart and always will. I try to focus on you being with Grandpa now, happy and in his arms, gazing into his eyes....I know your heart never was the same after he left you, you never for one second stopped missing him or aching for him. It broke my heart to see you so sad, Gram and I felt soooooooo helpless as wanted to take that pain away from you but couldn't.

My Sweet Gram, I know it has been like forever since I have been here or added anything and will try very hard to get more pics on here soon.
I wanted to wish you a very blessed and happy Easter, Gram. I soooooooo miss making a basket for you and seeing your eyes lit up with anticipation of all those sweets, lol I thought of you today as I prepared the Easter dinner,especially the pumpkin pie that you loved so much. I hope you were here with me, Gram. I meant to make you another basket this yr but didn't get to it and I am sorry for that and hope you had a hugeeeee basket in heaven filled with all your fav candies.
Gram, I miss you so deeply, more than what you could ever know. I go past your apt and always say hi to you and gaze at your patio door remembering you. Losing you was such a shock to me Gram as it was soooooooo unexpected. I am so sorry for not spending more time with you yet am grateful for all the times we did share and the Sundays you spent at my house. I will forever cherish my childhood spent at your house, I have many wonderful memories Gram.
How is Grandpa? I miss him very much too even tho has been soooooooo many yrs since he has been gone. I loved and still do, love him so very much. I am happy that you are back in his arms, Gram, I know that is exactly where you want to be. I can soooooo envision the kisses going on between the two of you, hahaha
